Longboards - Are the original version of the surfboard. Longboards have come a long way since they
were developed in Hawaii, a century ago, and thankfully no longer weigh 150 pounds. We offer many
different versions of the longboard, some eight feet long, others are nine feet long. The Longboard is
great for an experienced rider, or for a gutsy beginner. Some find the Longboard to be easier, due to
its size and buoyancy. We also sell longboards with skegs (fins), which help experienced riders glide

Soft Surfboards - Are perfect for beginners and kids! They are made out of a softer material than
Longboards, and are better suited for beginners and kids because our soft surfboards have a foam core,
or hollow plastic with solid foam, which will allow you to stay on top of the waves, not under them!
Our soft surfboards also have a thick fiberglass coating that creates a nearly indestructible board.
It's a fairly common practice for a newbie to learn and practice on a Softboard and upgrade to a
Longboard when they feel they're ready.
